A new president in the upcoming American elections should do part of the job in finding a successor for the Kyoto protocol.

Linda agreed to share her concerns and the priorities for the PES manifesto2009 on Yourspace.

This week we gave the floor to Joël Cordier, member of the Parti Socialiste (PS) in Namur, Belgium, and of Artisans du Progrès, an initiative aiming at debating the manifesto for the next European elections.

Next week begins Yourspace BLOGFEST. During two weeks, from July 23 to June 6, several bloggers will post and comment simultaneously on different issues. To keep it short, two weeks of intense online activity!

Nations willingly accepting heavily increasing electricity prices in order to generate growth in green technologies count for future profits. Decommissioning of nuclear facilities is an instance and really a brave move – not in environmental categories, however, but in economical (considering consequent high electricity prices increases). It follows that economical growth could be consciously managed and accelerated at the State level – influencing prospective market trends.
